Want to know how I grew my Pinterest Account to over 150,000 views a month?
And learn how I use those views to sell books?
It’s no secret that Pinterest is huge powerhouse, especially for bloggers and DIY-ers. For those with their own Etsy accounts, lifestyle blogs, and boutique shops, Pinterest has always been massively, massively effective for driving customers and curious readers to their sites.
In fact, there didn’t seem to be many niches that Pinterest couldn’t help sell. Unfortunately, as authors found out very quickly, books fell into that category. Unlike Facebook, Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter, all of which embraced hashtags with a passion, Pinterest refused to join the trend. And they refused hard. Which drove the majority of authors away from the social media platform years ago, in search of markets that would net them some form of return on their investments.
But, late spring/early summer of 2018, I noticed some changes to the platform. Being curious, a little addicted to research, and desperate to continue my avoidance of Instagram and Twitter to sell books, I started to read all the new articles and blog posts on Pinterest as I could find. Using what I was learning, spending way too many hours trying new things and tweaking them, I started watching my numbers grow. Not just my profile views, but individual pin views, and even better, I started driving traffic to my website.
Over the next few months, my monthly views went from maybe 5k views a month, and actual clicks of my pins went from an average of 4 a month in August 2018, to several dozen a week.
I want to help you learn to do this too. To not only use Pinterest to market your books, but help you find readers–real readers who are looking for the exact type of books you write.
Because I believe everyone learns at their own pace, I am offering three options for the Pinterest Marketing for Authors course: A Facebook Group Course with new lessons posted weekly, a one-on-one Facebook message consultation (2 hours), and a one time digitial download.
