When I’m not letting my characters rule my world and write what they want, I’m a wife, a mother to two amazing young women, and a Mimi to the cutest toddler on the face of the planet otherwise known as Punk.

I’m also a giant nerd with two Lord of the Rings tattoos, a Harry Potter tattoo, and a Beauty and the Beast tattoo.

Normally, I’m the short, endlessly optimistic ball of sunshine, but over the last few years my optimism and energy have taken a nosedive. This blog is my story, my journey through severe depression, PMDD, and ADHD, and my mom’s cancer diagnosis.
